Summer Opportunities at WHUMC
Enjoy a morning to yourself as the WHUMC child care staff provide activities designed especially for your child. Parents Morning Out (PMO) is loosely structured to accommodate children ages 1 year – 5 years.  Each session will include story time, music time with our very own Mr. Matt, free play, snack time, theme related activities and large motor activities.  Each week will explore a different “Under the Sea” themed book and engage in activities that correspond with the weekly book. This program is open to the community.
Parents Morning Out meets on the following dates:
Session 1: June 18 & 25
                July 9 & 16
Session 2: July 23 & 30
                August 6 & 13

We can let the world change us or we can change the world.

In Raising World Changers in a Changing World, author Kristen Welch shares the joy that sacrificial giving brings. Using personal experiences and stories of faith, Welch offers a compelling alternative to status-quo parenting.

Join us as we explore, discuss, and practice opportunities to pursue faith, generosity, and compassion in our family life. We’ll gather each week to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends, review and discuss a portion of the book, and explore a community service project that we can put into practice with our own families.

Please note: the group fee does not include a copy of the book, but the e-book and audio book are available on Hoopla, free of charge.

Raising World Changers meets each Wednesday from 10am – 11:30 am beginning on Wednesday, July 10th. This is a four week session and childcare is included. Childcare space is limited, so register ASAP to claim your spots.
Raising World Changers meets on the following dates: July 10, July 17, July 24 & July 31
