8:45 am Casual Blended Service

This service is currently held in our chapel which is a smaller more intimate space where those who gather can feel a sense of connection and community.  The music for this service is a blend of standard hymns and more contemporary songs, accompanied by piano.   Come as you are, relax and experience the word of God in a new way.

11:00 am Traditional Worship

This service is held in our 500 seat sanctuary, and is a more traditional style of worship, with standard United Methodist liturgy. Music is accompanied by our restored M. P. Mööller, 1961, Op. 9532 pipe organ for the hymns, while the choir sings more contemporary songs accompanied by the piano.  Upon entering you will immediately notice the suspended cross above the altar table. On the back wall are wood carvings of various biblical scenes.

The sanctuary provides excellent acoustics and sound amplification. If you require hearing assistance, we provide FM radio assistance devices. In worship, you can participate as much or as little as you would like.  We hope you will want to become a part of the congregation by greeting those around you, singing, praying and going out to serve others.

Our professionally staffed nurseries are located upstairs from the main entrance. You can rest assured that our professional staff has been screened and receives training in childcare and protection.

Special Worship Services

Throughout the church year, we offer special services on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and at other times as needed.  Funerals and weddings are held in our sanctuary on a routine basis.  Click here for information on planning a wedding at WHUMC.
